it, and that's
the way it continues. You can rely on your New Holland
baler
to be produce consistent bales every time.
There are
Three different 14 x 18 models, plus a

72 Bale
Thrower
The New Holland 72 Bale Thrower
can completely fill an
18-foot wagon with bales up to 38 inches long
& 65 pounds in weight without
restricting baler capacity (higher bale
weights are possible).
The 72 is compatible with the BC5050,
BC5060 and BC5070.
Adjustment and servicing is
easy, thanks to a clean and simple design.
Strong, durable diamond-tread
belts provide reliable performance.
Tractor-mounted distance control toggle
switch makes it easy to change the throwing speed of the
belts to change the distance bales are thrown. The thrower can
also be set to drop bales directly on the ground if needed without
removing it from the baler.
A distance indicator lets you
know at a glance the relative distance bales are thrown.
Direction control allows you to
change the position of the thrower. When you move the tractor
remote control valve, a double-acting hydraulic cylinder pivots the
thrower up to 30 degrees left or right, for turning or baling on a
contour.
A wagon hitch attaches to the
baler axle to keep towing stresses where they belong. It
adjusts to narrow road width for easy transport.
Rod spacers allow you to
control apron spacing when baling light, springy, or semi-cured
material.
Haybine
Mower-Conditioners
The
best in plug-free cutting and conditioning
When it's time to buy a
mower-conditioner, go with a genuine New
Holland Haybine mower-conditioner, the one that started it all.
Full lateral header flotation
allows the header to hug the ground for clean cutting while
minimizing scalping and cutterbar damage.
Change easily from swath to windrow
- no tools needed. Two handles allow you to control
the adjustable swath gate to make the change in
seconds.

Effective sickle cutterbar
delivers a precise, smooth cut - even trough changing or difficult
conditions.
Full-width, chevron-design, intermeshing
rubber conditioning rolls provide gentle and thorough
conditioning for fast drydown. All models feature the proven
torsion-bar roll-pressure system for plug-free operation and
consistent cracking of stems.
Four-bat reel matches all crop
conditions.
Variable reel speed and adjustable reel
position let you adjust to difficult cutting
conditions.
The exclusive Rolareel header on the
499 uses a converging reel to sweep the crop directly into
the conditioning rolls. There's no auger needed. Since
the rolls are mounted in the main frame, the header is light enough
to react quickly to the changing ground contour for a closer,
cleaner cut.
The pivot-tongue convenience of the
499 allows you to open fields easily, cut square corners
and mow back and forth on the same side of the field. The
spring-loaded tongue lock is easy to latch, so you don't waste time
when your're ready to transport.
Tongue control on the 472 and
488 is handled with a simple rope control mechancial
transport lock. Hydraulic tongue shift is standard on the 499
pivot-tongue model.
Equal-angle PTO (472 and 488)
minimizes driveline vibration, even when making 90-degree
corners.
A convenient knife assembly
storage compartment allows for easy in-field
changes.

Discbine Disc
Mower-Conditioners
Fast field speeds, quick drydown and earlier
baling
Discbine disc mower-conditioners quickly
turn standing crop into fast-drying windrows or swaths. They
slice through thick, tangled, wet crops and mow through fire ant
hills and gopher mounds without missing a beat. The New
Holland Discbine line ranges from seven-disc models that cut a
9-foot swath up to twelve-disc models that sweep through 15 ft. 7
in. at a time.
The New Holland MowMax
cutterbar offers clear-cut advantages, like individual disc
modules with sealed gear cases and independent allow drive shafts
for smooth, trouble-free mowing. Every MowMax cutterbar is
equipped with ShockPro disc drive hubs that absorb the shock of
field impact before damage to drive components can occur.

Choose the conditioning system that best
matches your needs - chevron-design, rubber rolls for
gentle, consistent conditioning (Models H7220, H7230, H7450, H7460)
or the New Holland flail conditioning system (Models H7230, H7330,
H7550, H7560) that delivers even faster drydown and can allow you to
bale up to a day sooner in grass crops.
Switching from swath to windrow, or
changing windrow or swath width is fast, simple and
requires no tools. You can spread crop from a fast-drying
swath as wide as 8 feet (depending on model) to a tight 3 foot
windrow that's ready to bale or chop.
Hydraulic header tilt is
standard equipment, letting you make changes to cutting height
on-the-go from your tractor seat.
Adjustable flotation springs
help you get all the crop with out scalping.
High-density polyethylene impact hood
liner reduces rock damage.
Center-pivot tongue design
(H7450, H7550, H7460, H7560) swings 38.5 degrees to the right or
left to provide outstanding turn-and-go maneuverability. You
can mow to either side or behind the tractor.
A center-pivot, swivel-hitch
tongue (standard on the H7460 and H7560 and optional on the
H7450 and H7550) provides even greater maneuverability. It's
the tongue design you need for making over-square corners, tight
headland turns and cutting around field obstacles.

The unique bent-tongue design
on the H7239 and H7330 beatures a constant-velocity joint
driveline and on-the-go hydraulic swing for exceptional
maneuverability. You get the convenience and performance of a
swivel hitch without the need for a three-point hitch or drawbar
extension.

Rolabar
Rakes:
Pick up more of your valuable hay.
New Holland Rolabar rakes let you feed
cleaner hay and more of it.
Offset wheels are set close to the basket, so tines follow the ground contour closely to pick up all
the hay - but leave the dirt
behind.
In-line telescoping drive
transfers power from the wheels to the reel through heat-treated
gears.
Height adjustment cranks permit
adjustments to either side of the basket for proper ground
clearance.
Crank arm locks prevent arms
from changing positions over rough terrain.
Proven basket suspension
provides a full grange of settings. Tines tilt up for fluffy,
fast-drying windrows or down for tight windrows.
Trip lever for gearbox clutch
can be engaged from the tractor seat. No need to disconnect
the drive each time you town the rake (ground-drive
models).
Dual-raking Models (Models 216 and 252
Rake Hitch)
Using two rakes instead of one cuts labor,
fuel consumption and tractor time in half. Transport, ooperate
and adjust two Rolabar rakes without leaving your tractor seat with
the 252 rake hitch.
| Rake hitch has a narrow 8 ft. 11
in. transport width.
Flexibility to rake two
separate windrows, or combine two swaths or windrows into one.
Use with all New Holland
rakes: 8 ft. 6 in. or 9 ft. 6 in. rakes, ground-drive
or hydraulic-drive, right- or left-hand delivery, or in
combination.
For the big-acreage haymaker, the
216 rakes up to 27 feet in one pass.
Unitized frame carries
two 10 ft. 6 in. baskets that rake a path wide enough to
combine two windrows from 16-ft. windrowers. Maintains
constant windrow width, even in sharp turns.
Folds to a narrow ten
feet for easy transport.
Change settings right
from your tractor seat with the rake control box.
Easy-to-set frame and basket limit
stops let you repeat your last frame setting each
time you open the rake.
Rubber Dyna-tines provide
long life. They are mounted individually and can be replaced
easily and economically.
Superior basket
suspension lifts tines over obstacles for cleaner
raking and less tine
failure.

BR7000
Series Roll-Belt™ Round Balers
Tight, uniform
bales in any crop or condition
You’re always looking for a better way
to bale. Well, look no further than the BR7000 Series round balers!
New Holland offers eleven distinct Roll-Belt™ baler models that
produce bales weighing from 300 to 2,200 pounds. Some are specially
designed to bale crops with moisture content up to 65 percent for
high-quality round bale silage.
New Holland boosts your baling efficiency with these
BR7000 Series improvements:
- A new hydraulic bale ejector ramp is
available as a dealer-installed option for the BR7070 and BR7090.
It uses a one-way hydraulic cylinder that allows the ramp to
instantly move down when the tailgate is raised and the bale comes
out. When the tailgate is closed, the ramp goes back to the
home position, and the bale is pushed away from the tailgate,
allowing the tailgate to close.
- Stronger shot-peened tines replace the
previous music wire tines on all pickups (except the BR7050
and BR7060 Standard). These new tines last longer, are more
durable in tough conditions and curved for optimal crop
lifting.
- Two formed ribbed rolls replace two dimple
rolls in the bale chamber for improved bale formation. These rolls
are made of thicker steel and have improved life and
durability.
- One less spreader roll means net flow is more
even and net spread is smoother and more uniform.
Extra-wide pickups ensure
fast, positive feeding:
Fast bale wrapping with fingertip
control—only from New
Holland:
- Bale Command Plus™ system
- Auto-Wrap™ system
- Twine
- Net (EdgeWrap™ system)
- Net/Twine (EdgeWrap system)
Optional Bale-Slice™ and CropCutter™ systems produce
bales that feed more easily.
