72 Bale
Thrower
The New Holland 72 Bale Thrower
can completely fill an
18-foot wagon with bales up to 38 inches long
& 65 pounds in weight without
restricting baler capacity (higher bale
weights are possible).
The 72 is compatible with the 565, 570 and
575.
A simple, clean design allows
for easy adjustment & servicing.
Strong, durable diamond-tread
belts provide reliable performance.
Tractor-mounted distance control toggle
switch makes it easy to change the throwing speed of the
belts to change the distance bales are thrown. The thrower can
also be set to drop bales directly on the ground if needed without
removing it from the baler.
A distance indicator lets you
know at a glance the relative distance bales are thrown.
Direction control allows you to
change the position of the thrower. When you move the tractor
remote control valve, a double-acting hydraulic cylinder pivots the
thrower up to 30 degrees left or right, for turning or baling on a
contour.
A wagon hitch attaches to the
baler axle to keep towing stresses where they belong. It
adjusts to narrow road width for easy transport.
Rod spacers allow you to
control apron spacing when baling light, springy, or semi-cured
material.
Haybine
Mower-Conditioners
Rated number one in cutting through heavy,
down and tangled crops.
When it's time to buy a
mower-conditioner, go with a genuine New
Holland Haybine mower-conditioner, the one that started it all.
Full lateral header flotation
allows the header to hug the ground for clean cutting while
minimizing scalping and cutterbar damage.
Full-width, chevron-design, intermeshing
rubber rolls provide gentle and thorough conditioning for
fast drydown.
The torsion-bar roll-pressure
system applies near-constant pressure for consistent
conditioning, but releases pressure to allow slugs to pass through
automatically without plugging.
Swath to windrow - no tools
needed, and the change takes only seconds.
Roll pressure is adjusted
quickly and easily with a turn of a crank - no tools needed.
Adjustment is infinite so you can choose the exact degree of
conditioning you need.
Four-bat reel matches all crop
conditions.
Bolt-on, over-serrated knife
sections provide long life and are easily replaced if
broken.
Variable reel speed and adjustable reel
position let you adjust to difficult cutting
conditions.
Equal angle PTO eliminates
noise and vibration and reduces maintenance.
Lightweight header (1465 and
499 only) reacts quickly to changing ground contour and obstacles,
resulting in less knife and guard damage.
Discbine Disc
Mower-Conditioners
Clean cutting at fast speeds
Discbine disc mower-conditioners
slice through thick, tangled or wet crop and mow through fire ant
hills and gopher mounds without hassle.
Patented, independent modular
disc cutterbar provides smooth, quiet, trouble-free mowing,
and fast inexpensive cutterbar servicing.
Model 1409
has the chevron-design, rubber rolls for gentle,
consistent conditioning.
Switching from swath to windrow
and changing windrow or swath width is fast, simple and requires no
tools. You can spread crop as wide as 8 feet to a tight 3 foot
windrow that's ready to bale or chop.
Hydraulic header tilt is
standard equipment, letting you make changes to cutting height
on-the-go from your tractor seat.
Adjustable flotation springs
help you get all the crop with out scalping.
High-density polyethylene impact hood
liner reduces rock damage.

Rolabar
Rakes:
Pick up more of your valuable hay.
New Holland Rolabar rakes let you feed cleaner
hay and more of it. Offset wheels
are set close to the basket, so tines follow
the ground contour closely to pick up all the hay - but leave the dirt behind.
In-line telescoping drive
transfers power from the wheels to the reel through heat-treated
gears.
Height adjustment cranks permit
adjustments to either side of the basket for proper ground
clearance.
Crank arm locks prevent arms
from changing positions over rough terrain.
Proven basket suspension
provides a full grange of settings. Tines tilt up for fluffy,
fast-drying windrows or down for tight windrows.
Trip lever for gearbox clutch
can be engaged from the tractor seat. No need to disconnect
the drive each time you town the rake (ground-drive
models).
