New Holland box spreaders—known as "Strong Boxes"—are engineered to perform and built to last. They have the toughest floors and sides of any spreader available. And, they're made of special steels that are more corrosion-resistant and stronger than ordinary steels.

Extra steel frame members in the spreader's undercarriage provide added box strength.

Heavy-duty axles with high-strength steel plates and spindles reduce stress on the frame. Standard on all models, these axles are a separate component from the box for easy servicing.

A-frame hitch made of high-strength, lightweight steel extends far back under the bed. This directs pulling forces to the axles and carries the load instead of pulling it.

Sturdy, formed steel frame member protects the front of the floor.

Maximum-strength, easy-cleaning side sheets are designed without ribs.

Optional slurry sides--a New Holland exclusive--increase capacity by about 25% and reduce splash-over.

Side and endgate made of special steels are four times more corrosion-resistant and twice as strong as ordinary steels.

Unique "floating floor," made of 3/4-inch x 6-inch high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tongue-and-groove planks, expands and contracts without putting stress on the frame or sides. It won't chip, crack, peel or splinter-plus it's acid-and mold-resistant and won't rot or warp.

Choice of heavy-duty T-rod or pintle-type apron chains to match your spreading conditions.

Rotary quadrant control lets operator set apron speed from the tractor. Choose from Neutral, Slow Unloading, Fast Unloading, or Clean-Out positions. An optional hydraulic drive on Models 185 and 195 provides more variable spreading rates.

Rugged, heavy-duty jack swings out of the way for transport. It's mounted inside the hitch channel for added protection.

Up to twelve high-strength steel beaters minimize breakage. Bolt-on paddles provide a knife0like cutting and shredding actions for a wide, fine spread pattern.

Reliable straight-line V-belt drive runs quietly and smoothly, eliminating the need for a slip clutch.

When it comes to spreading, nothing gets the job done faster, cleaner, or better than a New Holland side-delivery spreader. These spreaders easily handle a wide variety of material, from slurry and gutter material, to cow manure and poultry litter.

Select the application rate that is right for you. Hydraulic gate and specially designed expeller provide precise application control—from light top dressing to heavy spreading.

Exceptional V-tank design with a white slick-surface polyethylene liner efficiently delivers material to the auger.

Heavy-duty round-core auger provides a low-torque startup and produces less drag. Its aggressive design easily chops through bridged material and powers down through heavy loads to quickly move it to the expeller for faster unloading.

Double-acting hydraulic cylinder moves the auger up and down to keep material moving in the tank. For maintaining consistent spread patterns in heavily bedded manures, an optional kit enables parallel auger movement.

Large, four-segment expeller has double-sided and reversible bolt-on square-toothed paddles for long life and more even spread patterns.

Heavy-duty chain-drive system takes power from the tractor and delivers it to the auger and expeller smoothly and efficiently. Both the auger and the expeller are protected by independent shear flanges.

Cornering is smooth and chatter-free thanks to a constant-velocity PTO drive shaft.

Extra-large-capacity Model 3118 is designed for large commercial and municipal operations and makes fast work of your biggest spreading jobs.
